The Team at Glenwood have 22 years of experience with equine reproduction, as well as competition horses, training etc prior and alongside the breeding programme.

We are very proud to have been awarded the Breeders Quality Mark for Excellence in 2005. Being one Stud to pass the rigorous checks and inspections. We are therefore more than happy to advise and guide you through any queries you may have. We use our experience to help clients achieve optimal pregnancy rates for their mare.

We work closely with an Equine Veterinary Practice, therefore we can offer competitive rates on reproduction packages. These packages cover our own 'in house' stallions and for chilled or frozen semen from outside. 

We also have a very good working relationship, with both many studs within the UK and abroad, which helps to contribute to pregnancy rates. 

We have a fully equipped AI laboratory, to enable us to send out semen and store frozen semen on our premises. 

We offer a high standard of livery rangeing from DIY to full, individual paddocks, horse walker, indoor and outdoor schools. Individual needs cater for and lessons also available. 

We offer mares to come to stud for foaling - walk in stallions for collection and natural covering - we can import chilled and frozen semen from any stallion of your choice - we offer embryo transfer - assistance in weaning of foals.

Rob Williams (Stud Manager) is a qualified AI Technician and is supported by experienced staff with years of experience in all fields of breeding.
